Trinasolar powers a desert project in northwest China with Vertex N 700W+ modules
Trinasolar’s Vertex N 700W+ modules were selected for proven performance in various challenging desert environments worldwide, demonstrating high reliability and energy yield. They have undergone stringent reliability tests, including thermal cycling, mechanical stress sequence, and UV exposure tests, ensuring consistent performance under extreme conditions. This project will be approximately 1.482 billion kWh each year, equivalent to reducing CO₂ emissions by around 1.156 million tons annually.
“This project exemplifies Trinasolar’s dedication to delivering high-value products and solutions for challenging environments worldwide,” said Vincent Wu, president of China MU at Trinasolar. “From seawater desalination plants in Saudi Arabia to coal-mining subsidence areas and desert scenarioses in Western China, our solutions continue to demonstrate their reliability and performance in the most demanding conditions, paving the way for further upgrades in our technologies.”
Furthermore, based on i-TOPCon Ultra technology, the Vertex N series modules were upgraded in December, 2024. They can deliver outstanding performance with up to 85% bifaciality and excellent low-irradiance response, resulting in higher overall energy generation efficiency and thus supporting reliable, consistent energy delivery throughout the entire day.
